The National Vegetable Society NVS is a charity dedicated to advancing the culture, study and improvement of vegetables offering help and advice to novice and expert show grower alike.

We are one of five regions within the national organisation and have District Associations covering more local areas - you can find out more about the NVS North in About the NVS Northern Branch .

If you would like to visit one of our district association's meetings contact them for details of the next one and you can be sure of a warm welcome, information on meetings and events etc

In the Growing Help section, you can find a wealth of information, continually updated, of interest to gardeners and not just vegetable growers although we do concentrate on growing superb vegetables. The articles are on the main NVS web site.
